Be ready, get boosted!

Time flies by, especially as we are approaching the holidays.

Soon (if not already!) it will be your partner’s office dinner, then yours. Then it’s game night with your friends. Probably a day or two of shopping, cooking and baking. Don’t forget you are going to a cottage next weekend too. Oh and you also need to put up your decorations!

During the holidays time is often escaping us. Make sure that you plan in advance your COVID booster. It takes 14 days for the vaccine to fully prep your immune system.

If you haven’t already, make your appointment for your booster this week so you are fully protected for the big day! You can even get your flu shot while you’re at it!*

*You can get a COVID-19 vaccine at the same time as your flu vaccine if you are older than 5. As a precautionary measure the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) recommends children 6 months to 5 years of age wait at least 14 days between COVID-19 vaccines and non-COVID-19 vaccines, including the flu shot.
